I am not very technical. Will this be a problem?
No problem at all. When purchasing our installable software, you will receive between 2-7 days training as part of the purchase. Our expert trainers will tailor this training to the specific needs of your business, getting you up to speed quickly.
You will receive access to free webinars and how-to videos as part of Premier's support contact – great to use as a refresher or for getting a new member of staff up to date. Additional training days are also available to purchase.
Will my data and that of my clients be secure?
Yes. All Premier Software systems meet the highest security standards and client data can be encrypted for complete safety.
Making the switch
Why should I swap from a paper diary?
Software is essential to help your business run smoothly. Our intuitive software solutions help manage multiple memberships and profiles, improve profitability and retention with marketing, keep track of your business with reporting, maximise retail opportunities, ensure accurate diary management and much, much more.
We understand that change may seem daunting; that is why we are here to help every step of the way. From configuring the system to meet your requirements, to installation and tailored training to get you up and running as quickly as possible, we will walk you through it all.
Once set-up is complete, we stay with you. Our dedicated in-house UK-based support team can help with any further questions you may have. You will also have access to a plethora of support features to help you get the most out of your software.
I am switching from another software provider. Is that easy to do?

Can I switch from your legacy Premier Salon/Premier Spa systems to Salon by Premier Software®?
Yes you can. This is done via a reconfiguration. For more information on the process of switching, visit our Reconfiguration page here.
Accessing the software
Can I access the software from home?
We also have a Premier Mobile solution. Included as part of the Salon by Premier Software®, Core by Premier Software®, and College by Premier Software support contract, this feature gives you access to your diary and consultation forms online.
Is your software cloud-based?
SalonLite by Premier Software® is our cloud-based software solution for the hair and beauty industry.
You also have the option to go ‘hosted’ with Salon by Premier Software®. This means the software will be hosted on our servers, ensuring you have access to it on any PC with an internet connection.
Can I send marketing information to my customers?
All Premier Software solutions include the ability to market to customers. Do not forget to abide by GDPR law and gain consent from your clients before contacting them for marketing purposes. You can manage all client preferences within the software.
Can I take payments through your software?
We have partnered with industry specialist Monek Limited, who have extensive card payment experience and expertise, to provide a trusted payment gateway which helps to keep costs down while fulfilling your needs. Whether you are looking to take payment on reception, over the phone, or online, there's a suitable Premier payment solution available.

How can I book a presentation?

That is completely up to you. Whatever suits you best!
How long will it take?
Our presentations usually take between one to two hours.
Is your software expensive?
Our cloud-based solution, SalonLite by Premier Sofware®, is available to use for free! You also have the option to upgrade for more functionality.

Do you offer a free trial?
You can trial our SalonLite by Premier Software® Premium subscription free for 60 days. Once this period has ended, you can subscribe to the solution which suits you or automatically move to our free software solution.
We do not currently offer a trial of our other software solutions. However, we are happy to run through the features and functionality during a free presentation. To book a free consultation today, simply fill in this short form and a member of our team will be in touch shortly.
How long will it take from placing my order to being up and running?
This is dependent on your software requirements.
As soon as you have registered for SalonLite by Premier Software®, the system will be ready for you to use immediately.
For a Salon by Premier Software® order, you will often be up and running in a few weeks, whereas a Core by Premier Software® or College by Premier Software order may take a little longer. Please ask your account manager for an estimated time frame at the point of order.
Will you show my staff how to use the software?
You will receive two days training for Salon by Premier Software®, or between 5-7 days for Core by Premier Software®, as standard. This is usually capped to maximum of 6 attendees. We like to cap the number of attendees to ensure we spend time with each staff member, and ensure everyone is comfortable and confident in using the software.
No training is currently offered for SalonLite by Premier Software®. However, we have a selection of how-to videos on our YouTube channel for you to refer to. The SalonLite support team are also available to assist, should you need it: [email protected].
If I recruit a new member of staff, how can I get them up to speed on the software?
Webinars are great for getting new staff up to speed and are limited to 4 attendees per session. Topics range from marketing, reporting and online, to system set-up, configuration and stock management. Do not forget to stop by our webinar page to book yourself on one of our free sessions. We will be updating availability regularly.
