Salary: Circa £20-24k (dependent on experience).

The opportunity

As a Digital Marketing Assistant, your main responsibilities will be (not exclusive but to include):

  • Manage SEM and Pay Per Click advertisement
  • Conduct keyword research and develop an SEO strategy to improve search engine rankings for the company, increasing flow of traffic to the website and conversions
  • Assist with paid media advertisement, including liaising with publications and partners
  • Manage social media advertisement, strategising campaigns and reporting on their success
  • Develop our online social media presence by increasing followers and engagement. Analysing results to inform future strategies
  • Track the customers’ digital journey
  • Provide monthly analytical reports on digital performance, identifying areas of success and making recommendations for improvement
  • Update the website and create new content and imagery when required
  • Convert copy and designs into various online documents (HTML/CSS)
  • Update and maintain the CRM system.

Assisting Content Manager:

  • Co-ordinate and work with the Content Manager and different departments to promote key launches, events and stories online
  • Contribute to the email marketing plan and execute marketing campaigns. Assist in the progression of email marketing automation, lead generation activities and code e-shots where necessary
  • Form part of the creative team, providing ideas for future promotions and strategy.

Research:

  • Conduct market research and analyse marketing surveys
  • Report on competitor activity
  • Proactively look for and pitch new ways to improve our presence digitally
  • Keep up to date with digital trends.

General:

  • Be professional, courteous and punctual at all times
  • Attend and contribute to marketing and other internal meetings
  • Attend events where required
  • Be proactive and enthusiastic to be part of the marketing team
  • Support any other business in relation to the role.

You will have the following:

  • At least two years’ experience
  • Have a good knowledge of CRM tools, WordPress, Hootsuite, Google AdWords, SEMRush, Google Analytics and other analytical tools
