Salary: Circa £30k (dependant on experience).

The opportunity

Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, the main responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant will be:

  • Using Sage Line 50
  • Reconciling Finance Accounts
  • Maintaining Spreadsheets
  • Credit Control
  • Preparing Statutory Accounts
  • Cash Allocation
  • Sales Order Processing
  • Managing Daily Post In and Out
  • Handling and Processing Payments
  • Receiving and Processing all Invoices, Expense Forms and Requests for Payment
  • Reconciliation of Direct Debit Mandates
  • Managing Petty Cash Transactions.

Skills required:

  • Good Working Knowledge of Sage Line 50
  • Basic Understanding of Accountancy and Book-Keeping
  • Would hold or be working towards an AAT Certificate or Related Accountancy Qualification
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills – to Deals with Customers and External Contacts
  • Good Organisational Skills and Ability to work to, and sometime Implement Own Processes.
