Seven tricks to skyrocket your client spend post-lockdown

As you eagerly plan to reopen, make sure to factor in how you will increase client spend, post-lockdown! You will no doubt be asking how to encourage clients back in and what will appeal to them most. Do not worry – help is on hand as we look at five sure-fire ways to boost your client spend.

1: Come for the offers, stay for the social

With so many keen for a massage, exercise, or dip in the pool, it will only take a quick email, SMS or social media message to attract clients back. However, to keep them returning and therefore boost client spend post-lockdown, you will need to promote the personal and social side of the visit alongside any offers. After all, clinching a returning visit depends a lot on building relationships.

2: Rebook to replicate revenue in record time

An excellent way to make sure clients spend post-lockdown is by pre-paying for their next booking. Once you have attracted clients onsite, and before they leave, gently prompt them for their next visit so you can book this in. Should you ask your client to pre-pay, you will not only receive payment upfront for their appointment but will also reduce the chance of a no-show as shown in our video!

3: Create and sell courses

A course of treatments makes for an attractive pre-payment alternative to boost client spend post-lockdown. 4: Memberships to client spend, post-lockdown

If you have a spa or leisure club, a great way to get clients spending is with a membership. Not only does this pull in regular client visits, but also guarantees regular payments for as long as they maintain their membership. Do not worry, this is easy to set-up using Core and means you can keep clients spending before they even visit next.

5: Set-up an exclusive loyalty scheme

Loyalty schemes reward those who come back again and again, so why not make use of one to boost client spend post-lockdown? Simply set how many loyalty points are received from each booking, as well as how many can be used to redeem a free treatment or product, and away you go! An effective loyalty scheme can really build client retention – after all, who doesn’t like a freebie as a reward?

6: Upselling retail

Retailing your unique, professional products is a great way to increase client spend post-lockdown. Clients will be desperate to restock their favourite shampoo or moisturiser, so make sure to upsell these where possible. 7: Promote your reviews with salonspy

Prospective salon clients are swayed heavily by client reviews, so make sure to share feedback on your social.
